The “sun cross”, also sometimes called the “wheel cross”, is a prehistoric symbol believed to represent the sun. One interpretation is that it’s a solar symbol connected to the norse sun goddess Sol.

The sun cross/solar cross/wheel cross symbol is found in various ancient cultures and is especially associated with European prehistory from the neolithic to bronze age periods.
One interpretation is that the solar symbol is connected to the norse sun goddess Sol. In Norse mythology, Sol is the personification of the sun and is considered a goddess. She is mentioned in various old norse texts, such as the Poetic Edda and the Prose Edda. The brother of Sol, is Måne (moon). Sol is depicted as driving a chariot pulled by two horses named Árvakr (Early Waker) and Alsviðr (Swift). Sol's chariot moves across the sky during the day, providing light and warmth to the world of humans and gods.
Rest assured I am strongly against any kind of white supremacy - you may recognize a similar symbol to the sun cross/wheel cross, used by those movements, which looks a bit different from this one. Sadly they often use old (norse) symbols and runes and taint them with their agenda - I think we should not let them claim these old symbols. To me the sun cross is only about appreciation for nature, the seasons, the earth and the return of spring and life!
